We dreamed of a ceremony space that’s effortlessly beautiful, deeply reverent, and easy for families. Scroggins Chapel is light-filled and classic—white walls, clean lines, and flattering angles for photos—so the focus stays on your promises, your people, and your joy. From your first tour to the last send-off, our team walks you through a simple plan so you feel calm, cared for, and fully present.
Scroggins Chapel stands on ground tied to longtime Katy residents Carol “Skipper” and Van Scroggins—neighbors who served this community for decades and were even featured in local papers for their 50th anniversary. In our lobby you’ll see a framed collection of their clippings, a memorial for Skipper, and artifacts from their life’s work, including the Katy Dusting, Inc. cap—reminders of Katy’s farming roots and the families who built this town.
Why the name? We named the chapel to honor that heritage. This site once supported local growers and ranchers; today it hosts the moments that grow families—weddings, vow renewals, and celebrations of life.
The chapel opened in 2025 to serve couples and the wider community.
